It took a year to receive a response but also included a glossy signed by all the members of Black Sabbath.

Bill Ward success ( Emmerdale) - October 2nd, 2015
I sent a letter and SAE to Bill as well as to 4 other cast members, sent in one envelope on: 5th February 2014, and in June 2015, I recieved this signed and personalized photo back

Bill Ward second success - August 10th, 2015

I sent two 4x6 'Robin Hood' photos, SASE and LOR to the "Emmerdale" address at ITV Studios, and I didn't think I'd get this back. I had e-mailed the actor a few months ago and got a success from him there.
To my surprise, they had found my letter and he graciously signed and personalized both photos. He wrote a nice note about them finding it and hoping it got to me all right. One photo and the note aren't pictured.

Bill Ward (Coronation Street, Robin Hood) success - May 27th, 2015
I wasn't sure where to post this, but I sent two letters to two different addresses (one to his agent and the other via the ITV studios) and didn't get anything back. Turns out he has a site dedicated to location photography and I e-mailed him to see if he had received any of my letters. He replied back saying he hadn't but offered to send a signed photo to me. I received a 4x6 personalized color photo yesterday, and another photo with a nice note on the back.
The postage and location stamp are from the ITV Leeds location, so I would suggest sending fanmail there rather than spamming his e-mail address on his photography site (not going to post a link but one can Google it).
